Privacy Policy
Afterglow Media ("we") creates and publishes short-form video content for local businesses ("clients"). This policy covers our website and our client tools — including the account connections clients grant us through Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok.
What we collect
- From clients who connect social accounts: your business's page/profile identifiers, page names and usernames, and the access tokens the platform issues when you click "authorize." We never see or ask for your password.
- Content and performance data: the posts we publish on your behalf and their metrics (reach, profile visits, taps-to-call, link clicks) used for your monthly report.
- Business contact details you give us (name, phone, email) to run the engagement.
What we use it for
- Scheduling and publishing the content you approved to the accounts you connected — nothing posts without your sign-off.
- Reporting performance back to you.
- Nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their marketing. Ever.
Storage & security
Access tokens are stored server-side on access-controlled infrastructure, are never exposed in browsers or client-side code, and are used only to perform the actions above. Access is limited to Afterglow personnel who need it to deliver the service.
Retention & revocation
- You can revoke our access at any time in your Facebook/Meta Business Integrations settings (or the equivalent TikTok settings) — revocation takes effect immediately on the platform side.
- When an engagement ends, or on request, we delete stored tokens and connection records within 30 days. See Data Deletion.
